i’m forcing myself to try some new meals. i get stuck in ruts and well i’m tired of them! so here’s what i found after a few mins of searching online:

 

 

Taco Bake

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 3/4 cup to 1/12 cups  water 
  • 1 package (1 3/4 ounces) taco seasoning
  • 1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce OR 2 cans (8 ounce each) tomato sauce
  • 1 package (8 ounce) shell macaroni, uncooked
  • 2 cups mild shredded Cheddar or Jack cheese

Preparation:

 

In a skillet, brown ground beef and onions, drain well. Add the water, taco seasoning and tomato sauce; stir to blend. Simmer for 15 to 20 minutes. Transfer to slow cooker. Stir in macaroni and chopped green chilies. Cover and cook on Low for 6 – 8 hours or on High for 3 – 4 hours. About 30 minutes before end of cooking time, top with shredded cheddar cheese. Serve with tortilla chips. Serves 6 to 8. 

 

if you happen to try it; i would say cook on high in your crock- pot for 30 min and on low for 30 min and it’s done! yes! my supper is currently on the counter fully cooked and ready for 5:30 – 6ish tonight. not impressed! i seriously want to eat it now, at 2:45 in the afternoon! brother! i hope the noodles don’t get gross in the mean time.
