purpleness

so i started altering the purple bootie pattern after supper. it altered very well. i have one bootie completely done for lizzie faith. it looks ADORABLE! she’s snug as a bug in a rug soooo she’ll have to model her one bootie in the morning. maybe now that she is almost 15 months old, i should call them slippers. šŸ™‚ i should have the second slipper done mind morning, depending on if i get an hour to knit or not. these are so fun! i should sell them! or just give a whole bunch of them away. šŸ™‚

anybody making christmas presents this year? one year, i was VERY ambitious… this is not that year! i’m not even sending out christmas cards… i may send out new years eve cards with a christmas family photo and a christmas letter. (can it all be called “christmas photo and letter” if it’s mailed a couple weeks after christmas…?) they may even be electronic… does that count? it’s just one of those years… i can sense next year being the same. just to prepare you… yes, i’m asking for your apology in advance. and thank you for accepting my apology. you are great friends! šŸ™‚

Those are cute!! I WISH i had the patience to knit.. Heather taught me but it was too slow for me to finish something so i never went back to it.. and it was kinda confusing to me as well.. the whole knit and pearl thing.. is that what its called?!

  2. maybe you can call them post-christmas cards? just a thought.

everything this year is homemade, with the exception of the men. i haven’t posted anything because i don’t want those people who read my blog to know what i got for them!! but i will after the holidays are over and done with.

You could call them New Years Greetings .. or something unique. Eric could come up with something cool, and you could start your own tradition! =-)

Oh yeah, and I love the purple bootie/slippers .. though, if said outloud I wouldn’t call them bootie-slippers. lol
