here’s my only beef with hardwood flooring.
my feet get cold.
poo on you cold hardwood.
if i were building my house on someone else’s dime – i would be installing in floor heating. since it’s my dime – here’s the solution…
i have winter slippers. but i want something less bulky and warm for the spring and summer. these will be perfect. not bulky. not overly warm. just a bit between me and the floor.
did you make these?

pretty
I hear ya!!! I have all hardwood and tile. Burrrr…..but I also have a phobia about bare feet on my floors, so I am NEVER found without slippers on at home.!!!!! EVER!!!! can you believe I have done many pedicures on people that actually walk on concrete and gravel in their BARE FEET!!!!! yikes.
mom, i haven’t yet! i want to though!!!! lizzie needs a mini pair so she won’t insist on wearing those silly brown polkadot tennies ALL DAY – ANY TIME – ANY PLACE!!! he he! maybe in a couple weeks when all the foam is where it belongs!
I love those I think I need to make a pair too. I should go check and see what fabric I have in the basement. 🙂
amanda, don’t ya think i could whip two up (one for me and one for lizzie) in a half a day?? i’m thinking EASY, the only thing is, i dunno what a couple things are, but i don’t have to do it like her. (the part that goes between your toes and over your foot). i could use ribbon or ANYTHING! or maybe we could have a day to make these and you could show me how!! 🙂
okay breanna when you figure out how to make these you just let me know…because i am in love with them and want to know how i can make my own. 🙂
got it! they are on my more recent list of things to do now that our floor will be concrete for a few months while building. 🙂
