this sums up a VERY long post i could write regarding my feelings on abortion.

it’s short.

please take the time to watch.

born alive

  1. Amanda Drost says:

That makes me so angry! Our child has rights but a child in the womb has no rights. We have to bend over backwards to even be able to enroll our child in school to make sure they have been given whatever right they deserve.

The hang up is what are we doing to stop this? We are pro-birth but what about the pro- life…… after birth…… is the church going to step up to help these children/mothers? Are we as christians going to step in and help? (adopt?) It seems that we can’t stand the thought of the child being “murdered” but we really don’t take care of the child. To think that had Henry and Anya’s (Glory and Mihail too) mothers been in the US likely my children would not be alive because of abortion. I just think there is so much more to this issue then just abortion! 😦 So, sad!!!

  2. Pam Sparks says:

I’ve heard women talk about this on other videos and radio shows….so hard to believe that anyone could kill. Government and Churches in trying to make everything “fair” for everyone have ended up making a big mess out of the ten commandments that are specific and black and white. Though shalt not kill, says it all.
Government and churches can’t fix what people don’t respect. There are consequences to behavior. Morals are not taught. Just pleasure and doing your own thing are blazoned from every media possible of the unrealistic views of the happy go lucky lifestyle that is not God’s plan. Sin has consequences, harsh and cruel! My only consolation in all of this that they will be with their heavenly Father that truly loves them more than the earthly mothers and fathers that made these choices. That does not make it right ever!

  3. Jean Beeler says:

    Latest numbers I could find:
Per year in the world: Number of abortions per year: Approximately 42 Million
Number of abortions per day: Approximately 115,000

Number of abortions per year: 1.37 Million (1996)
Number of abortions per day: Approximately 3,700

How can people ignore this? How can it be legal to kill this many children per year? God’s heart has to break!!

Things like this make me sick to my stomach! Do you know Gianna Jessen? She spoke at a Lifeline fundraiser a couple years ago. You should check out these videos:

You’ll see part 2 along the side. She is amazing, and I just love her. I agree with your sis–a huge reason we adopt is because we are passionately pro-life, and feel like we can’t be pro-life without being a part of the solution.

Speaking of Lifeline, we’ve been asked to fill a table at the fundraiser for the annual Lifeline banquet and speaker this year–are you interested in joining us in supporting this pregnancy crisis center?? 🙂 During this past year they were able to buy an ultrasound machine to use as pregnant women come in trying to decide what to do about their pregnancy–to let them see that is a living baby we are talking about, not some pre-human fetus.
