this stuff is amazing! seriously!!! the last stuff i made (and blogged about) eric broke out BADLY with it! and i’m the one with sensetive skin – go figure! BOO borax!!

this is equal parts grated kiss-my-face olive oil soap and arm and hammer washing soda.

this little bit here will last 3-4 weeks and cost me maaaaaybe $1.50.

use 1 tbsp per load.

if i feel like the load needs a little booster (substitute for borax) i use natures miracle laundry booster and i’m going to try biokleen next time i order from vitacost. 🙂

the week my children turn a new age

is always memorable.

usually in a not-so-good way.

today, just might take the cake.

ate dog food.

got a hold of my super sharp pointed scissors (how? i still can’t figure it out!) and was crawling around with them for several seconds before getting busted.

pulled a mug of mine off my shelf and broke it. (yes my favorite, of course!)

bites now consist of -at minimum- 4 goldfish.

fell head first into the toy bin and was stuck for several seconds until i reached him.

it’s only 5pm – i’m scared!

make biscuits and press into muffin pan like with the barbie cups.

brown 1 lb of hamburger.

add spaghetti sauce to taste and right consistency.

add spoonfuls of meat.

shred whole milk mozzarella and add on top of meat.

top with turkey pepperoni.

bake the same as bbq cups.

next taco cups….

jace is so sneaky.

if you grasp his hands while he is standing up and encourage him to walk to you, he sits down with a sneaky grin.

today, i decided he was going to walk rather he liked it or not.

(he will often times walk with 2 hands helping if it’s memaw or anyone else but mommy)

this morning, i held on to his left hand, we walked side by side around the bar in the kitchen.

i think he’s been hiding his mad skills.

my new favorite thing via facebook friends (you guys are AWESOME for supper ideas!!!)

make a HALF batch of biscuits

take a handful (golfball size) and mash it into an ungreased muffin pan and press up the sides.

brown 1 lb hamburger. add bbq sauce to taste OR onions, green peppers, salt, tomato sauce to taste.

put spoonfuls into biscuit lined muffins.

bake on 400 degrees for 10-15 minutes until golden brown.

pull out and top with mild shredded cheese and bake until cheese is cooked to your liking.

YUM! these are amazing. seriously!

tomorrow night, we are trying a pizza version.

i’m seriously excited.

how is it i am this old and i didn’t know about this SIMPLE idea!

(makes 12 muffins/cups)

a beautiful weekend in illinois with friends.

now back to regular programming

oh yes, i’ve taught myself how to crochet and i’m loving it.

(not near as much as knit, but a change of needle/hook is enjoyable)
